Formed when they were only 15, this London based four-piece band consists of Jack Steadman (lead vocals, guitar), Jamie MacColl (guitar), Ed Nash (bass) and Suren de Saram (drums). After entered and won “Road to V” competition from Virgin’s Mobile in England, the band were given an opening slot for “V Festival” in 2006.
Their debut album, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose was released in 2009 with Island Records. Following the sophomore album in 2010, Flaws, the band has just released A Different Kind of Fix this year (2011).
It’s a bit hard to categorize Bombay Bicycle Club. Some would describe them as an ‘indie-rock’ band and sometimes it could be a ‘folk band’. But yeah, this is something you can expect to hear when you enter any TOPSHOP anywhere in the world. Yeah, that how I’ve heard of the band – from TOPSHOP in Bangkok.
